Position Description:

 

Position Title: Personal Response Associates 
 

Position Summary:

 

To respond promptly and professionally to Emergency and Non-Emergency calls from Lifeline subscribers and evaluate what type of assistance is required, following set protocols as well as using personal judgment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Respond to calls and alarms in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensure protocols are followed quickly and accurately
  • Conduct daily test calls to subscribers (*excluding night shift)
  • Respond to alarms from other lines of business, including satellite phones
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems with Subscribers
  • Based on troubleshooting, request required service to solve Subscribers issues
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate as a team player, however is also able to make decisions quickly and independently
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

Department: Subscriber Services

 

Reports to: Subscriber Services Manager

 

 

Requirements:

 

Education (minimum level) - High School Diploma

 

Work Experience required (minimum level) - 1 to 3 years of business and/or customer service experience

 

Technical Skills

 

Windows 2000 Platform, E-mail, Microsoft Office, Qwerty keyboard knowledge

 

Skills:

 

  • Must be fluent in English (Written and Verbal)
  • Must be flexible working in weekends
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Superior listening skills /ability to assess and process information quickly and accurately
  • Good organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills to ensure the safety and security of Philips Lifeline subscribers.
  • Good interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Fast typing skills - 40-45 word per minute
  • Enjoy working independently in a fast paced environment
  • Display flexibility and strong work ethic
