Position Description:

 

Position Title: Bilingual Sales Representative- Inbound

 

Position Summary:

 

To sell Philips Lifeline products and services through various sales methods including Inbound and outbound sales calls, customer follow-ups, web inquiries, voice mail and fax referrals.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

• Respond to inbound telephone inquiries regarding Philips Lifeline products and services; provide accurate information and recommendation to meet customer needs.
• Provide timely follow-ups to ensure effective closing on all sales opportunities
• Meet /exceed sales quota using customer focused selling.
• Maintain product knowledge ands stay current with all marketing promotions.
• Obtain all pertinent customer information and process all required documentation, to ensure accuracy at the same time providing an excellent customer experience.
• Transfer all non-sales calls to the appropriate department
• Collect referral source information from callers and communicate this information to Marketing, Field Sales, Inside Sales and others as appropriate in order to enhance Philips Lifeline sales and marketing efforts.

 

Normal working hours:

 

Monday- Friday 12:00 noon- 8:00 pm. (Flexible working in weekends)

 

Requirements:

 

Education:

 

• BS/BA degree or equivalent related work experience preferred with 2 years of experience in business-to-consumer sales in a high transaction environment.

 

Experience required:

 

• Minimum of 2 years of successful inbound telesales in a call center preferred. 
 

Skills:

 

• Fluent in French (verbal and written), fluency in Cantonese an asset.
• Demonstrated record of success achieving/exceeding sales targets monthly/quarterly
• Desire to work in a fact paced customer sensitive environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Driven, self motivated and competitive
• Result-oriented with a "go-getter" personality
• Excellent rapport building telephone communication and negotiating skills
• Ability to plan, organize and establish priorities to meet goals and achieve results
• Strong organization, time management skills, and attention to detail
• Active listening skills and the ability to multi task - e.g. Listen, talk and type
• Team Player as well as being able to work autonomously
• Exceptional follow-through skills
• Effective use of Microsoft Office required
